FAQ
Questions, answered.
What GPA scale is used?
The standard US 4.0 scale: A+/A = 4.0, A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B− = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C− = 1.7, D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0, F = 0.0.
How is GPA calculated?
For every course, quality points = credit hours × grade points. GPA = total quality points ÷ total credits.
What if my institution uses a different scale?
This tool uses the standard 4.0 scale. If your institution uses another scale (e.g. 10-point), use the CGPA course-level mode with your own grade points.
Is my data stored anywhere?
No. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, cached, or logged.
Can I download or print my result?
Yes. Every run produces Markdown, CSV, JSON, and plain-text artifacts you can copy, download, or print.
