FAQ

Questions, answered.

How is my overall grade calculated?

The calculator adds up every score and every maximum, then divides total earned by total possible and multiplies by 100.

Which grading scale is used?

A common US letter-grade scale: A+ ≥ 97, A ≥ 93, A− ≥ 90, B+ ≥ 87, B ≥ 83, B− ≥ 80, C+ ≥ 77, C ≥ 73, C− ≥ 70, D ≥ 60, F below 60.

Can I add extra-credit rows where score exceeds max?

Yes. The tool warns you but still counts the row so extra credit correctly boosts your overall percentage.

Is my data stored anywhere?

No. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, cached, or logged.

Can I download or print my result?

Yes. Every run produces Markdown, CSV, JSON, and plain-text artifacts you can copy, download, or print.
